Marquise cut bezel-set engagement rings, handmade to order by our family workshop in the Cotswolds and set with a diamond you choose yourself. The marquise is a long, boat-shaped diamond with two points. It looks larger than any other shape of the same weight. A bezel setting holds the diamond in a smooth rim of metal instead of claws, for a sleek, secure ring.
The marquise cut diamond
The marquise is a long brilliant cut with a point at each end. It has the largest face-up area of any diamond shape for its weight, so it looks big for its carat weight and makes the finger look long and slender. It has a bold, vintage character. The bezel traces the outline of the marquise diamond in a clean line of metal.
Why a bezel setting?
A bezel wraps a smooth rim of metal right round the diamond instead of holding it with claws. It protects the edge of the stone, sits low on the finger and has nothing to catch on clothes or hair, so it suits an active life and everyday wear.
Choosing your marquise diamond
A ratio of 1.75 to 2.25 gives the classic shape; keep the two halves even. Like the oval, a marquise can show a bow tie, so check the photos. The two points are the delicate part, and our settings protect each one with a claw.
Choose your own diamond
Every ring is set with a centre diamond you choose yourself, natural or lab-grown, from our live stock. Each stone has its grading report, and the ring page shows the finished price before you buy.

Frequently Asked Questions
The points are the thinnest part of the stone, so they can chip if knocked. Our marquise settings hold each point in a claw to protect it.
The metal rim covers the very edge of the stone, so it can look a touch smaller than in claws. In return the diamond is fully protected, and the clean frame gives a crisp, modern outline.
