18ct white gold solitaire engagement rings, handmade to order by our family workshop in the Cotswolds and set with a diamond you choose yourself. A solitaire holds one diamond on a clean band, so all the attention goes to the stone.

Why a solitaire?
A solitaire is the purest engagement ring: one diamond on a plain band, with nothing to compete with the stone. It never dates, lets more light into the diamond than any other setting, and sits easily beside almost any wedding ring.
Why 18ct white gold?
18ct white gold is 75% pure gold, alloyed with white metals and finished with rhodium plating for a bright, mirror-white shine. It costs less than platinum and is lighter on the finger. As the plating wears, usually over a year or two, a hint of warmth can show; a quick re-plate brings it back. Want to spend less again? See our 9ct white gold engagement rings.
