The round brilliant diamond

The round brilliant is cut for maximum sparkle. Its 57 facets are arranged to send as much light as possible back out of the top of the stone, which is why it hides small inclusions and a touch of colour better than any other shape. It suits every setting and every hand, and will never date. The side stones are matched to the round centre diamond so the three sit in proportion.

Why a trilogy ring?

A trilogy, or 3 stone, ring sets a centre diamond between two smaller side stones. It gives a wider, fuller look across the finger than a solitaire, and the three stones are often said to stand for your past, present and future together.

Choosing your round diamond

Cut grade matters more on a round diamond than on any other shape, because the round is graded for cut. Choose Excellent or Very Good for the best sparkle. Because rounds hide colour and inclusions well, a G to H colour and SI1 clarity often looks just as good face up as a far pricier stone.

Every ring is made to order in our family workshop in Bourton-on-the-Water, where we have made fine jewellery since 1969. We use 100% recycled precious metal, every ring is independently hallmarked, and each one takes 3 to 4 weeks. Delivery is free across the UK, and returns are free within 30 days.
