Our Diamond Stud Earrings are attached to the ear through a piercing in the earlobe or some other external part of the ear by a traditional French fitting, sometimes called a post & scroll, post & butterfly or clutch if you are American. Our earring posts are a full 10mm with a grooved and radial end for comfort & security. We recommend upgrading to an earring screw back, for total security and comfort although its true they do take a few days to get use to.
