Up one place at 5 is the original bad girl diva Etta James with At Last. Soul and love, love and soul, either way round Etta James is one of the best. Slow, soulful and with lyrics that might have been written with a wedding dance in mind.
With a voice that was made to sing love songs, Al Green’s at 4 with Let’s Stay Together.
Greatest Day by Take That is this week’s number 3. An inspirational song from the undisputed heavyweights of the boy bands (and that’s just counting Barlow), show your guests your glorious love to the tune of Take That - and no closing your eyes and imagining you’re dancing with Robbie.
