18ct Rose Gold Pear Shape Trilogy (3 Stone) Engagement Rings

18ct rose gold pear shape trilogy (3 stone) engagement rings, handmade to order by our family workshop in the Cotswolds and set with a diamond you choose yourself. The pear shape is a teardrop diamond, rounded at one end and pointed at the other, with plenty of sparkle. A trilogy ring sets three diamonds side by side, often said to stand for your past, present and future.

The pear shape diamond

The pear is a brilliant cut shaped like a teardrop. It mixes the sparkle of a round with the length of a marquise, so it looks larger than its weight and lengthens the finger. Most people wear it with the point towards the fingertip. The side stones are matched to the pear centre diamond so the three sit in proportion.

Why a trilogy ring?

A trilogy, or 3 stone, ring sets a centre diamond between two smaller side stones. It gives a wider, fuller look across the finger than a solitaire, and the three stones are often said to stand for your past, present and future together.

Why 18ct rose gold?

18ct rose gold is 75% pure gold, warmed to a soft pink by a little copper in the alloy. It is not plated, so the colour never wears off, and it is slightly harder than yellow gold. Some of our rose gold designs set the diamond in a white platinum head for the whitest look, with the pink band around it. For a lower price, see our 9ct rose gold engagement rings.

Choosing your pear diamond

A ratio between 1.45 and 1.75 gives the classic teardrop. Look for even, rounded shoulders and a bow tie that is faint rather than dark. The point is protected by a claw on all our pear settings.

Choose your own diamond

Every ring is set with a centre diamond you choose yourself, natural or lab-grown, from our live stock. Each stone has its grading report, and the ring page shows the finished price before you buy.

Made to order in the Cotswolds

Every ring is made to order in our family workshop in Bourton-on-the-Water, where we have made fine jewellery since 1969. We use 100% recycled precious metal, every ring is independently hallmarked, and each one takes 3 to 4 weeks. Delivery is free across the UK, and returns are free within 30 days.
