Natural Pink Diamonds
Natural pink diamonds are among the rarest gems on earth. Most came from the Argyle mine in Western Australia, which closed in 2020, so fine natural pinks are now scarce and their prices reflect it. Their colour comes from a change in the diamond's crystal deep underground, not from any trace element. A natural pink is a true heirloom stone.
Lab Grown Pink Diamonds
Lab grown pink diamonds give you a strong, even pink for a fraction of the price, in sizes that would be out of reach in a natural stone. Many have their colour developed after growing, and the grading report says so. See the stones in our pink lab grown diamond search.
Shades of Pink
Pink runs from a pale blush through to deep rose. Stones with a hint of purple ("purplish pink") look cooler, and those with orange ("orangy pink") look warmer and peachy. A soft Fancy Light pink suits a delicate solitaire; a Fancy Intense pink makes a statement in a halo of white diamonds.
The Best Metal for a Pink Diamond
Rose gold warms a pink diamond and makes the colour look richer. Platinum keeps the setting cool and lets a pale pink look brighter. For the best of both, many of our rings come with a platinum band and a rose gold head, so the claws around the diamond carry the pink.
How It Works
Choose a setting below and it opens with the pink diamond already selected, so the 3D view and pictures show the ring as it will look. Pick natural or lab grown, then choose your centre stone from our live stock of certified coloured diamonds, each shown with its own photo and grading report. You can switch metal on the ring page at any time.
Made in Our Own Workshop
Every ring is handmade by our family workshop in the Cotswolds, jewellers since 1969, in 100% recycled platinum or 18ct gold, and hallmarked. Not sure which colour or setting suits? Book a virtual meeting or contact us and we will talk you through the stones we have.
