Emerald cut trilogy (3 stone) engagement rings in every metal: 100% recycled platinum or 18ct white, yellow or rose gold, handmade to order by our family workshop in the Cotswolds. A trilogy sets your centre diamond between two smaller side stones, for a wider, fuller look. Choose a ring below, then pick your own certified natural or lab-grown emerald diamond.
Why a trilogy ring?
A trilogy, or 3 stone, ring sets a centre diamond between two smaller side stones. It gives a wider, fuller look across the finger than a solitaire, and the three stones are often said to stand for your past, present and future together.
The emerald cut diamond
The emerald cut uses long, flat step facets instead of the brilliant facets of a round. Rather than sparkle, it gives broad flashes of light and a clear "hall of mirrors" look into the stone. Its long shape and cut corners give a quiet, elegant ring that looks larger than its weight.
Choosing your emerald diamond
The open step facets show more of the inside of the stone, so clarity matters more than on a round: VS2 or better is a safe choice. A ratio of 1.30 to 1.50 gives the classic shape. The cut corners protect the stone, so it is a practical choice for everyday wear.
Platinum or gold?
Platinum is naturally white, hard-wearing and the most secure choice for the claws that hold your diamond. 18ct white, yellow and rose gold cost a little less, and 9ct gold less again. Shop by metal: platinum, 18ct white gold, 18ct yellow gold or 18ct rose gold.
Choose your own diamond
Every ring is set with a centre diamond you choose yourself, natural or lab-grown, from our live stock. Each stone has its grading report, and the ring page shows the finished price before you buy.
